Lots of house projects around our little home these last couple of months.  One of the many projects that seems to be taking forever is the kitchen.  We started it back in April with redoing the cabinets and now here we are in September working on the back-splash.  When you live in a 1950’s house, or any house for that matter, you always seem to have projects going on and our kitchen seems to be one of those that keeps going and going.  We really started working on it when we moved in 6 years ago in November and right now I am finally starting to feel like we are close to the end.  I am doing the back-splash myself on the weekends, during nap time and when Liam is at Mothers-day-out.  It is FAR from perfect but from a distance (like across the room) it looks good.  I should have it completed by October, I hope. ;)
