Today it has been one week since Liam broke his leg.  Thankfully the week went by a lot faster then I thought it would.  Hopefully we only have 5 weeks or less left.  Liam seems to have adapted a lot faster to his cast then his mother.  He is able to roll from his back to his tummy and then kind of army crawl to a toy or push up with his arms so he can play with something.  Also he fits in a stroller so we have been able to take walks, which really help the days go by faster.  We have had lots of visitors which has also helped us stay busy.  My girlfriend, Jara, came over today with her 9 month old boy, Rhett.  Liam and Rhett had a great time playing trucks on the floor and going for a long walk.  We have a doctor’s appointment on Thursday where we find out how he is healing and more information on the time line of the cast.  I will make sure to update the blog on Thursday when we find out more.  Keep your fingers crossed for us that it will be all good news from the doctor.
