Had 5 pounds of organic apples from my coop so I decided to take jackie’s advice and make homemade applesauce. Hope it turns out as good as it smells right now in my kitchen. I used the basic recipe from my Joy of Cooking. It is beginning to feel like the holidays even though it is 70 degrees in Dallas this weekend.
