The holidays started out with a long road trip to Taos, New Mexico for a vacation with my side of the family.  Attending was my mother, step-father, brother and his wife and son.  As well as my aunt and uncle from California and there son and daughter with their significant others.  We rented two houses that were side-by-side and a little out of town.  The view was amazing from the houses and they were close to the Taos ski slopes as well as to the town.  They even had a hot tub which was needed after a long day on the slopes.  Liam had a great time with his cousin, Jordan, they are a month apart and played very well together.  They both love trucks and all kinds of vehicles.  So we constantly had tons of cars and trucks strewn all over the living room.  The two days I skied Liam went to a wonderful daycare that was on the mountain.  He got to play outside and snacks and lunch were provided.  The ski school and daycare are very highly rated and the school is one of the best in the country.  I can’t wait to go back when Liam is older and he can learn to ski.  The skiing was amazing!  Lots of powder the first day, maybe too much, almost blizzard conditions in the morning.  The second day the slopes were well groomed and awesome.  I would go back right now.  We have skied a lot of places in New Mexico and I think Taos maybe my favorite so far.   Here are some links to our vacation:
