Well I made a round of phone calls today that I like to make but hate the reason.  They are phone calls to several people in my life that know more then me about  toddler health issues.  Today it was Liam’s ear.  As you can see in the above photos one is not quite its’ self, to put it mildly.  In fact if I did not know for certain that Liam is not a professional prize fighter I would think it was cauliflower ear.  After talking to two different people one of them being a nurse and looking up photos of swollen children’s ears on the internet it has been determined that it is a bug bite on the ear.  Wow and what a bug bite it is.  Not only can I not find where the bug bit him exactly, I never even saw this monster bug bite Liam.  For now I am applying hydrocortisone ointment every couple of hours and praying that by tomorrow morning it will look better.
